This weekend I swapped my study and the spare room around. It was hard work manoeuvring the bed which would not come apart but I did it. I vacuumed both rooms thoroughly but I am pretty happy with the interim result and have a study flooded with light and a view of people walking their dogs up and down the street. I was so achey from hauling furniture around that I had a radox bath and watched the last 4 episodes of Clickbait which I enjoyed up to the last episode which was kind of ludicrous.
The kid has returned full time to her home apartment. What with the extension of lockdown, I think she was ready to wait it out in her own home. We're in the same regional spot so she travel across there bridge and still be in the correct bubble. She took the old cat home with her, too, so we are back to me, Charlie and Ned.
She did take Charlie for a sleepover on Saturday so I was able to take advantage of that to go for a walk in the Wetlands yesterday morning. This is also a bird sanctuary and dog free so I had not been before. I very much enjoyed the still and quiet of the nesting birds but disappointed not to see the rare visiting kingfisher which someone else had posted.
I also made a red velvet cake but managed to forget the cocoa. I was wondering why it was so ... pink. It still tastes delicious and freezes well. I also watched 4 episodes of Sex Education which is so GOOD. I would have binged the whole thing if I didn't have to go to work today.
