Great article!

Like you, I'm trying to spend less time with my phone. I haven't removed it from the bedside yet - I rarely look at it in bed because the screen is too small for my old lady eyes.

As I commented on ganching's blog today - the thing that really made me reassess my attachment to the phone was losing it. I was way, WAY more upset about it than I should have been.

I think I also need to start reassessing internet use in general, because where is my life going?

Hi, a couple of days ago, I watched a starving polar bear snuff film that was so unexpectedly upsetting, I got angry about how manipulative it was.

The outcome was that I realized everyone all the time is watching some sort of manipulative, high-emotion content inside their phones & so everyone is on edge, reacting to their own private terrible experience all the time, whether they realize it or not, gross.

Aren't you glad you came to the U.S.? lol
