Not intent on going anywhere, this dog. I've been pondering my transition to border collie owning enthusiast. I've been a cat owner all my teenage and adult life but am late to the dog owning. Of course, though originally it was the kids who begged and implored for a dog, it's me who he belongs to. I think it's his boundless capacity for happiness that makes him so attractive (it certainly isn't his hot doggy breath or his stinky farts). And probably because I am so hermit like, he is a good companion though he has been responsible for a huge extension in my social circle in the neighborhood. I've even converted from being a massive whiner about a local bakery and their rubbish customer service to ardent fan not that I am acquainted with their Jack Russell.
Anyway, life has been work busy and kid busy but all in a good way. When I feel overwhelmed, Charlie comes and puts his head on my knee and it all gets easier.
