Last weekend I brought order to my wardrobe. The reason I had so many wooden hangers to dump at the tip was because of replacing everything with those skinny velvet covered ones which allow much more to hang up. I put clothes in colour coded sections and wondered why it had taken me years to realise that high end boutiques do this so it was within the realms of possibility for me to do it also.
Tons of stuff got taken to Vinnies and I sorted out a pile of stuff for ebay including my much loved but little worn Manolos and Jimmy Choos. The thing is that I think I might have broken a toe and they are excrutiating to wear these days. Plus I spend most of the day in casual clothing except for when I frock up for jaunts to foreign lands. They sold. Not for tons of money but for enough to make me glad they were no longer taking up space in my wardrobe.
I restrict myself to my glorious Brazilian heels these days, which are frankly less obvious and make me feel like I have a secret no one in Australia has disovered.
I am also very excited with these Merrill PaceGloves. I saw the picture mrs severin had posted and was smitten. She kindly texted me their provenance and even tracked down for me some nifty flame coloured ones on ebay. I bought the sober colour as I have them in mind for airline travel but walking around in them over the weekend has made me realise I have a few muscles that have not been working very hard in my feet and ankles. Also, I now want the orange ones. Someone else confessed to have 6 different colours. Clearly a cult item far surpassing those leopard Jimmy Choos.
the shoes in the second pic I LOVE

I know, reemski, they are awesome, aren't they? I was in Sao Paolo in May and one of my team was wearing them in electric blue, sea green and black. I begged her to tell me where she got them and she drew me a little map of where to find the shop. Brazil is full of wonderful shoes. And wonderful people. And great food. Wish I spoke portuguese:)

I think the sneaks are adorable, obvsly & decided today that I love them more than the Five-Fingers that I had because they are similar in purpose but don't make strangers talk to you. Yes.

Lala, I am indebted to you over the wonders of thrifty, boxless ebay. I can't decide on the flame or the azure next.
