I have no knitting suggestions, but if you're looking for someone to gift those socks to, look no further. Our minus 29 degree cold here is sure calling out for some home knitted sock warmth!

Hope your soon to arrive bundle of fluff is just as cuddly as the pictures indicate.

let's do socks together! i'll look around for something easy--i think top down is supposed to be easier than toe up, but what do i know. i don't even wear them.

Hey swissmiss - hope all is well in Geneva (saw a beautiful photo of snow covered cars by the lake in one of the Guardian eyewitness photos)

Santos - you are on! I need something to occupy my fingers while watching Scandinavian detective series with sub-titles!

Oh, good luck with the puppies. Yeah, option A is a great choice. If I love my ride, I'd keep it too. I can imagine how gorgeous it is with its special color and upholstery. Neat!

Hmmm, for the sock knitting, perhaps you can consult an expert knitter so that he/she can guide you in that, since it's a complex process. Regarding the Audi, it will be better if you keep that car and fix the ignition coils. That would be more affordable than swapping it for a newer model. Good luck on your freshman daughter!
