You write melancholy so well. Or is it that your issues strike my own tightly-strung chords? Motherhood and marriage and a space of one's own - I'm right there with you.


A friend was telling me the other night that his English Professor at University was fond of saying that Virginia Woolf's greatest contribution to English literature was walking into the river.

I hope you have come out of your blue period.
