It's been a good year. I like to think of this as my transition year. I know how to be good to myself. Next year will be tough financially so I'm learning ways to be good to myself without spending a heap of money.

I prefer to think of them as principles to live by, and by and large, I succeeded

Evelyn, my daughter’s former babysitter in the Phillipines had a son. I haven’t seen her for 8 years but we were still overjoyed with this news

No

Patience

Sad to say the tsunami on 26 December

I’d like to say a new job, but I’m still working towards finalizing that. Still, setting the goal and working towards it has been good for me.

I like to think of it as learning to listen to the emotions behind the words and actions of my children and respond appropriately

Nope, too many headaches but I understand the triggers

My oldest daughter, who despite the onset of puberty, shows herself to be thoughtful and loving
